I’m Shalini Avhad, a passionate yoga instructor with a deep-rooted understanding of Ayurveda. With over 15 years of experience in the field, I have dedicated my life to promoting wellness and enhancing the lives of individuals through the practice of yoga.
In recognition of my contributions to the field, I was honored with the prestigious “Vir Jijamata Puraskar” by “Krida Bharti” in 2017. This esteemed award acknowledges my commitment to promoting physical and mental health through yoga and my dedication to inspiring others on their wellness journeys. I am also a member and associate with Balbharti, Pune, where I actively contribute to the Physical and Sports Education committee.
With a focus on alignment, breath awareness, and mindful movement, I will guide you through various yoga postures, helping you cultivate strength, flexibility, and body awareness. We will also explore breathing techniques (pranayama) to calm the mind, reduce stress, and enhance vitality.
I design and conduct yoga sessions that cater to the unique needs and conditions of pregnant women, helping them maintain a healthy pregnancy, alleviate discomfort, and prepare for childbirth. I am honored to be part of the Umarji Mother and Child Care Hospital team. I believe that by nurturing the health and well-being of mothers and children, we can create a positive impact on their lives and empower them to thrive.
