Dr. Chinmay Umarji, Director of Fetal Medicine at Umarji Mother And Child Care Hospital, was proud to be part of this important gathering and the continuing journey of the Society of Fetal Medicine.
Under the visionary mentorship of Prof. Ashok Khurana, SFM has grown into a nationwide movement. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, and Kibithu to Ghuar Mota, it has worked tirelessly to strengthen fetal imaging, improve the management of pregnancy complications and upskill clinicians through conferences, hands-on workshops, fellowships, webinars, publications, digital platforms and patient-awareness initiatives.
Prof. Khurana’s enduring contribution is also reflected in the diverse and cohesive team he has nurtured. Even as Mentor Emeritus, he remains personally involved—encouraging ideas, empowering team members and creating leaders united by a common purpose.
With expanding international collaborations and chapters, including the new SFM chapter in Indonesia, this vision is now building bridges beyond India.
